Studio and product photography course

Through this six-week studio and product photography course you will learn the techniques and practices behind professional studio lighting.

The course is run by experienced commercial photographers who have a long history in studio and product photography. Over the duration of six consecutive Monday evenings, the course will cover: studio lighting techniques, working with models, portraiture, food photography, table-top product photography, high speed action photography, long exposure and mixed lighting techniques. At the conclusion of the course participants will have a sound base for professional studio techniques.

This course is best suited for intermediate to advanced photographers, who have a sound understanding of their camera and manual settings.

The course is held over six consecutive Monday evenings. Each session runs from 6:30pm to 9pm.

What participants need to bring: Their camera, tripod, flash and notebook.

In Australia he runs Photo-Tours and Workshops in Melbourne, Victoria’s Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula and Tasmania.

Our tours combines the best elements of a modern tour with the added benefit of photographer tour guides. We are fully committed to helping our tour members find the best locations and receive the best photographic advice.
