Beginners Workshop
Join Dani during the school holidays in a class specifically designed to teach photography those aged 10-16 years. Our photography class is designed to ignite the creative sparks within budding artists and provide them with the essential skills to capture the world through the lens.
Learn how to use your camera off automatic mode. Learn about key camera settings like shutter speed, aperture and ISO. We will also teach you the basics of composition, perspective, lighting, focusing and more.
All skill levels welcome as we introduce you into the world of using a DSLR with interchangeable lenses. Small class sizes ensure that your child will receive one-on-one time with the tutor.
No camera? No problem! We will supply you with a Sony Mirrorless camera to use for the duration of the workshop. You’re also welcome to bring your own camera and lenses with you.
Class includes:
- 3 hour practical tuition
- Use of a Sony mirrorless camera for the class
- Printed ‘Introduction to DSLR cameras’ booklet to take home
- Printed ‘Photography Cheat Sheet’ to take home
This photography class is not just about taking pictures; it’s about cultivating a lifelong love for creativity, fostering confidence, and providing a platform for self-expression. Join us on this exciting photographic journey and watch as your young photographer transforms moments into timeless images!
